Malta Marathon course
The Malta Marathon is an island loop that starts and finishes in Valletta near the Triton Fountain and passes Sliema, Saint Julian's, the coast road toward the Dingli cliffs area, and harbour towns on the return. The flatter harbour-side sections are easiest, the coastal climbs and descents across the island are tougher, and spectator support is best in Valletta, through Sliema and Saint Julian's, and at the more accessible cliff-side viewpoints.
